During the open house, NUS medicine students shared about things that made NUS Medicine so special. For example, the house system and mentor system help students easily integrate into the NUS Medicine family. The bond between the lineages was also very comforting, knowing that there will be a support system.

NUS Medicine’s long-standing reputation as one of the best medical schools in the world together with its robust support system played a pivotal role in my choice of NUS Medicine. Knowing that most of the doctors we see today are alumnus of the school, I was confident that I would be well-equipped with the clinical knowledge and communication skills to be the best doctor I can be.

NUS medicine stood out in terms of its curriculum and how it has the anatomy hall experience, and generally I felt that the NUS culture had a focus on nurturing students to be holistic. There were many opportunities to still engage in our passions and try new things, while keeping up with academics.
